The King County Iris Society hosts several educational and fun meetings each year. The content is primarily focused on iris (of course)
but can also include other topics of interest that reflect upon iris.
Meetings start at 7:00 PM and end around 9:00 PM and are held at:

KCIS also participates in or hosts several iris-related events each year:
- Our Show held in the spring provides an opportunity to see many different types iris up close. Society members are available to answer
any questions visitor may have! The Show may or may not be judged.
- Our Sales events in August and September help us raise funding for projects promoting the wonderful world of iris.
- Judges training is offered on occasion. KCIS may hosts these events or promote the events that are held in other locations within AIS Region 13.
- The Northwest Flower and Garden Show is always a fun event. KCIS hosts an educational
booth during the show!
- The Highline Botanical Garden Sale in spring has several different plant clubs that
participate to help with their fund raising efforts. KCIS also has a display garden at the HBG site.
